Current Characters:
IC Info
Name: Blue Sargent
Canon: The Raven Cycle
Age: 18
Appearance: Played by=>Amandla Stenberg. Blue is described as short (no more than five feet) and compact. She's a travel-sized battery pack. Her skin and eye color are left to interpretation as these are never given a defined, solid description in the course of the novels. Her hair is hard to manage, kept short and pulled back using a myriad of clips and pins. This only lends to her eccentric style, often composed of clothes she has made, deconstructed, or spliced together in some way (usually a mixture of layers).
Canon Point: Near the end of The Raven King, just post Gansey's death on the ley line.
Background:One Wiki.
Personality:
When placing herself directly in contrast with her psychic family, Blue calls herself ordinary. She feels she is someone that would otherwise fade into the background, but she is anything but a plain Jane. She is sarcastic, opinionated and fiercely independent. She considers herself a feminist and refuses to be objectified or to be seen as a love-interest (or potential love-interest) instead of as a friend first.
Blue is earnest, adventurous and ambitious to a fault. It is one of the aspects of her character that makes her so adapt to fall in with her Raven Boys—a task to find a dead Welsh king is the kind of adventure her soul sings for. This ambitious nature can lead to disappointment, though, when her dreams come up against the realities of life—like needing money for college.
She is fiercely loyal and protective of her friends. While she is stand-offish with Gansey and his friends at first, she quickly finds herself attached to them, seeing them as something other than the typical Aglionby boys. At one point she describes herself to be in love with all of them, as they all have a fierce love for one another. None of them believe in the idea of a “casual” relationship, friendship or otherwise. If it is not ride-or-die levels of devotion, then it means nothing. So while she may bristle with Ronan’s antagonism, groan at Gansey’s SAT vocabulary, get frustrated with Adam’s approach to…everything, and ache for Noah’s fate, she would not trade her friends for anything and she will defend them to the end of the line.
Weaknesses/Temptations:
Her most immediate temptation will be the offer of a means to save Gansey. That has been her goal since meeting him, and it has only intensified as the search for Glendower neared its end as their options ran thin.
Anything that promises the ability to pursue her dreams will also represent a decent temptation. Money for college, scholarship programs, internships in fields of her interest. If it would give her the opportunity to see more of the world, to study things that draw her interest, she'd seriously consider the option.
Finally, a promise to be more. While she has been shown that being a mirror-witch is a powerful thing, there is still that want to have the legacy of her family. She still wants to be able to see, touch, witness the supernatural her family lives with every day. While she has seen magic firsthand in the search with her Raven Boys, there is still that yearning for what the women in her family have as well.

Sins:
- Murder (Maybe more of assisting a suicide??)
- Pride
- Envy
- Parental defiance
- Grave robbing/desecration
Powers/Abilities:
- Mirror-Witch: Being a mirror, Blue is able to amplify or take power from those around her. This often requires someone to have a physical connection with her first--be that holding hands or her simply touching their shoulder. This physical link is not always necessary after it is initially established, however, it simply makes her amplification more focused. For those not being physically touched by her, they do need to remain close-by--think of it has having to be in the same room as her. This is most often seen with Noah drawing from her to maintain his form. She's the seat everyone wants at Starbucks--the one with the power outlet. As of Blue Lily, Lily Blue, she is able to cut people off from her power source at will.
- One (1) Nino's Pizzeria uniform, because what's hell without being reminded of the corporate hellscape of capitalist America?
- A baggie full of clips and bobby pins, this hair does not manage itself

If one more person asks "What's got you so blue, Blue?" I'm going to scream.
One: You aren't clever. Jokes old, horse beaten. Two: I don't know. Might have something to do with the fact Hell has literally frozen over, because I'm in Hell. That answer's pretty obvious, if I was...you know. Blue. Three: I am not in some melancholy mood or whatever.
And now I just complained to literal strangers. Awesome. Any takers on giving me something actually interesting to talk about before I find a hole to crawl into and die in?
